Registration and Conference Service:
The registration desk will be open in the foyer of the conference venue at the following times:
Monday, March 12th: 08:00 – 20:00
Tuesday, March 13th: 08:30 – 20:00
Wednesday, March 14th: 08:30 – 14:00
On arrival you will receive a name badge together with a delegate pack containing conference material including the book of abstracts. Delegates should note that name badges must be worn at all times.
Wi-Fi:
There is Wi-Fi access throughout the university campus. Password information will be provided at the registration desk.
Catering:
Tea & coffee breaks and lunches will be organized in the foyer of the conference venue.
Oral Presentation Preview and Deposition:
Presentations can be uploaded during the breaks prior to your session. All speakers are requested to check in with the presentation coordinator at least 15 minutes prior to the start of their session. Please make sure that your presentation is compatible with PowerPoint 2013. In case you plan to use your own laptop or MacBook, please ensure to bring the appropriate adaptors.
Please note: The program is quite full and speakers are kindly requested to keep to time. We recommend allowing at least 5 minutes for discussion.
Certificate of Attendance:
A certificate of attendance can be requested at the registration desk.
Going Out:
Most theatres, museums, bars and restaurants are located in the Altstadt (old town) of Düsseldorf. The Altstadt is also called “the longest bar of the world” because of its very high bar density. In restaurants, the service fee is included in the menu price; however, it is common to give a tip of ~ 5 %. The Altstadt is located near the Rhine river. You can reach it by underground train (lines U79 or U73) departing from the station ”Universität-Ost/Botanischer Garten”; exit at station “Heinrich-Heine-Allee”.
