Welcome to CAi
The Center for Advanced Imaging (CAi) is a joint venture of laboratories from the Mathematics/Natural Sciences Faculty of HHU. The aim of CAi is to encourage the development and use of applied optical microscopy in the interdisciplinary environment of Life and Material Sciences. The CAi may also be used by external research groups according to prior agreement.

October 2025: Updated declaration of cost coverage
We have uploaded an updated version of the declaration of cost coverage to the website (see Usage fees). The device list has been updated and important information have been added. From now on, only the new document will be accepted for device introductions.
